Starting a Blog
I decided to finally start a blog, and settled on bashblog for the simplicity and ease of use.
This will be a personal blog and most likely a place for me to bitch and moan about life and work, as well as share my thoughts on books, articles or news, etc. Maybe some useful how-to stuff about computers or *nix. I've wanted to blog for a while but the reason for never doing so was simple: Who cares?
I love to write -- so why not keep it offline, in a journal? Why would anyone care what some random guy on the web things about $TOPIC?
Good question! They probably don't and none of this matters. That being said, I chose to go ahead and start blogging regardless. Maybe I'll write something useful or something someone can relate to. Maybe I'll actually develop an audience of loyal readers.
Maybe not. The Internet is a big place and everyone has a chance to make their voice heard, even if what they're saying isn't worth listening to.
That's for the reader to decide.
